L'éditeur en parle

Two further works by the old master of the Japanese avant-garde are now available as study scores. The first piece is 'Signals from Heaven' composed for the wind section of the traditional orchestra. The wind instruments are divided in two groups, thus reflecting the antagonism of the two 'signals' : the first greeting the day, the second greeting the night. The second study score presents the piece 'Family Tree' scored for large-scale orchestra.
In this work, the reflections of the narrator (in the score in English and Japanese) on the life of her parents and grand-parents lead to a melancholic look at her own future. Besetzung : wind instrumentsensemble
