Anyone can wear a tie, though nowadays few do. And yet... What else can one wear that allows one to murmur - but not shout - one's love of design, form, patterning and colour ? Socks can delight with jazzy patterns and crazy colourways, but we don't really go about the place gazing at one another's ankles. The tie is the Goldilocks of exhibition spaces. Not too hot and not too cold. Not too big and not too small.
