Biographie de Peter McPhee

Peter McPhee is an internationally esteemed historian of modern France, and serves as a professorial fellow, University of Melbourne, having previously been the university's inaugural provost. He has published widely on eighteenth-century France, including Robespierre : A Revolutionary Life (Yale University Press, 2012), A Social History of France 1789-1914 (2004) and Living the French Revolution 1789-1799 (2006).
He is a fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities and the Academy of Social Sciences, and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2012.
