In love and in Paris, Eli and Rachel are sitting at a quaint cafe in the Jewish district. Suddenly, someone tosses a bomb into their midst, critically wounding Eli and killing several. Was this an anti-Semitic attack? Who was the intended target? Rachel is now alone and does not know who the enemy is or whom she can trust. She learns Eli has kept secrets from her, endangering them and their young child.
