À propos des auteurs

Anthony Ham is a freelance writer and photographer who specialises in Spain, East and Southern Africa, the Arctic and the Middle East. When he's not writing for Lonely Planet, Anthony writes about and photographs Spain, Africa and the Middle East for newspapers and magazines in Australia, the UK and US. Anthony also curated the Plan Your Trip, Understand and Survival Guide chapters. Paul Clammer l has worked as a molecular biologist, tour leader and travel writer.
Since 2003 he has worked as a guidebook author for Lonely Planet, contributing to over 25 LP titles, covering destination swathes of South and Central Asia, West and North Africa and the Caribbean. In recent years, he has lived in Morocco, Jordan. Haiti and Fiji, as well as his native England. Orlando Crowcroft is a senior editor at Newsweek, author and former foreign correspondent who first visited the Palestinian Territories in 2012 to cover a football tournament and has reported from Israel, the West Bank and Gaza regularly ever since.
He was based in Tel Aviv as a stringer for the Guardian in 2014 when he began writing for Lonely Planet. In 2017 he published his first book, Rock in a Hard Place : Music and Mayhem in the Middle East. His passions include sampling local fire-water and road trips (ideally not at the same time) and he has never met a dive bar he didn't like. Mark Elliott had already lived and worked on five continents when, in the pre-Internet dark ages, he started writing travel guides.
He has since authored (or co-authored) around 60 books including dozens for Lonely Planet. He also acts as a travel consultant, occasional tour leader, video presenter, speaker, interviewer and blues harmonicist.
