À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Brian Mackenzie

I was born in Inverness in 1949 and have lived in East Kilbride, London (near Heathrow), and Saudi Arabia (for ten years). I am now retired and have lived in Spain for the past nine years. I love music especially Dylan, Van, Bruce, The Smiths, Joy Division, The Clash,. but I really love it all and still get a thrill when I hear something new. I started to write poems and songs after retiral and have become quite prolific.
Many are about the dark side of love, but there are also lighter scribblings. I suppose I have been influenced by all the rock poets, but with a hint of Rabbie, and, I would like to think, a little Wordsworth. I would classify my poems/songs as street 'fire' poetry; that should just about cover it.
