It was business as usual on Earth 2026. Humans were still racing towards their extinction with the hope it would not happen in their own lifetimes. Then the meteorites came, pulverising the Earth. Extinction was now within their grasp. Governments retreated underground, leaving a scattered population on the crust to fend for themselves. Someone decribed the next six months as a disaster movie a day.
A ragged few fought a losing battle to keep a fractured world from reverting to tribalism. What they need was a miracle. It came from Space. Her name was Sabina.
