Kirsten routinely wakes in horror to a shadow man who torments her throughout her teenage years. She suffers from night terrors as this thing mocks her. She soon finds that her family used to do witchcraft and made a pact long ago that each first-born child would be part of this ritual. When her mother gives birth to a son, she finds herself chasing away shadow figures from his crib. As the shadow figure seemingly becomes stronger and stronger, Kirsten must not only watch out for herself but her family as well.
And time is running out.
