Mare Barrow vit dans une société où la couleur du sang prime sur le reste. Les Argents, dotés de pouvoirs incroyables, règnent en maître et les rouges font office de décors. Mare est une rouge qui défit la société, qui échappe à l’enrôlement militaire, qui fait tout pour ne pas respecter les règles. Le jour où accidentellement elle révèle des pouvoirs hors du commun, sa vie prend un tournant impensable.
Une très belle trilogie (pour le moment)/dystopie qui met la femme au centre de l'attention et du danger. Très inspirant. C'est d'une originalité décalée et sympathique.
