Résumé

Alice thought she had lost everything when her husband's yacht was found empty and adrift. He had slipped out sail under the stars and is never going to come back. A year on, Alice and her two children are still struggling to come to terms with their new life -but their troubles are only just beginning... On sunny day, Alice's children don't come home. The police are caught up in inter-departmental battles and Alice, now very much alone in the world, believes that the only way to save her children is to find them herself. But as the questions multiply, the answers seem more elusive than ever.
