In a small town in Virginia, the temperature keeps rising. There's been no rain in weeks, and the whole place is a tinderbox just waiting to explode. All it will take is a spark to ignite the rage and hatred that are so carefully kept hidden. And then, in the midst of the terrible heat, a tragedy occurs.
