Résumé

Buddha, the Lord of Light, now prefers to be known as just plain Sam on this distant planet where the gods walk as men. Brahma, Kali and Krishna all wield vast and hidden powers and control the destiny of this teeming world. But are they really gods and truly immortal? Or has the colonization of a planet become a re-enactment of Eastern religion and mythology? Winner of the Hugo Award, Lord of Light confirmed Roger Zelazny's standing as one of the brightest stars of the New Wave.
His dazzling use of myth and his thrilling sense of language have ensured that he has remained a vital and seminal figure in the genre ever since.
