Rita abandoned the wealthy trappings of a doctor's wife. She retreated to the small town of Haven, after a devasting, private-and also highly public-blow. Haven seems oblivious to her notoriety and feels safe, and welcoming until she attracts the attention of the local motorcycle club, Havoc-or at least two of its members. One's bad news. And the other? Bad news-of a different kind. Joel aka Vapor is Havoc's road captain.
The MC club has evolved to provide protection for other, less . savory clubs. It took sacrifice and struggle to get where they are. Almost respectable. If only Joel wasn't so antsy, as though something is missing in his life.But it sure isn't the repressed female civilian he rescued from the stupidity of another club member.
