Urban Tales of the Bible series illuminates Biblical stories with the use of urban tru-2-life language and sharp elements of humor. TS Holder takes the stories of the Bible and brings them into modern day while vividly presenting the back stories in a way that draws the reader into the text just as if they are actually there! The majority of the characters in the Bible are portrayed as mindless individuals that never have an opinion or thought, however in this series the silent Biblical characters are given a 'Tru-2-Life' voice and their emotions are explored and put on blast.
These Biblical stories are very unique, "un-politically-pulpit-correct", filled with RAW "unchurchy" truth that is at times humorous yet brings understanding. Part two takes you on a round trip journey with Jacob, from arriving to the East Side, his explosive escapades with his uncle Laban and his journey home to face his brother Esau.
