Résumé

Meung, the birthplace of Don Quixote, experienced a revolution on April 1, 1625, with locals gathering at the Jolly Miller hostel to protest against various conflicts. A young man, D'Artagnan, had a Béarn pony with yellow skin and windgalls, which was a symbol of his noble heritage. Despite being skilled, he couldn't hide his prank and was given the name Don Quixote. Be courageous and seek novel opportunities, as a Gascon son, to live a happy life.
Be inspired by Monsieur de Badeaux, a great noble with a yearly income of 10, 000 crowns, who engaged in conflict with others throughout his life. Father M. d'Artagnan gave his son a sword, kisses, and blessings, while Mme. D'Artagnan remained a moral and physical replica of Cervantes' hero. D'Artagnan's wit and witlessness led to misinterpretation and misunderstandings, leading to his eventual arrival in Meung.
D'Artagnan was offended by a man in a violet doublet who mocked him. The man, aged 40-45, made profound remarks about the Béarnese pony, which D'Artagnan found amusing. The man, enraged by the situation, approached the horse and joked about the horse's buttercup hue. D'Artagnan, a visitor, confronts a man mocking him, who he yells at. The visitor, unsure of his identity, intervenes, but D'Artagnan is killed by his attackers.
The host helps him, and the man leaves the scene, irritated by their undiscrimination. The host checks on the young man, who fainted but continued to defy the host. The host reveals he is not the devil, but a prince in disguise. The host questions if Badeaux forced the young man, unsure of the severity of the situation. The host is frustrated by a young boy, who causes commotion in their business.
The stranger, who is saddled and ready to leave, asks the host to saddle Milady. D'Artagnan, a young and attractive woman, is driven from his establishment by a host who demands he leave soon. He encounters a woman who orders him to return to England and inform the Duke of London. D'Artagnan reprimands the young man, but the stranger reprimands him. The gentleman and lady are riding horses, and the stranger demands payment.
D'Artagnan, a base coward, is injured and faints. The host offers eleven crowns, but D'Artagnan discovers his wallet contains only eleven crowns. The young man searches for a letter, but finds it missing. He rages and threatens to spit out the host, who has a sword and a larding pin. The host believes the letter contains riches and bills on Spain. D'Artagnan offers to pay 20, 000 pistoles for a letter in his Majesty's secret treasury, but the host refuses, believing it was stolen. D'Artagnan, unsure of the true identity, withdrew two crowns and sold the letter to a merchant for nine livres.
D'Artagnan visits Paris, finds a rental flat, and works on braiding, sword fitting, and finding Badeaux's hotel. Sleeps in the country, returning to Badeaux's home.
