Résumé

Fame and fortune comprise our dreams from early childhood, and lurk unfulfilled in the unconscious of adults. They are but instincts attuned to our modern civilization where necessity is no longer enough, and the animalistic desire for dominance takes complex forms that pull us deeper into the materialistic void. Donna Starlight, the most celebrated figure in the western hemisphere, revels in the adoration of a populace that had given her the key to the world.
Political and corporate leaders alike acquiesce to her every demand so she may foist their delusive cause on her susceptible fans. Knowing neither remorse nor empathy for the damage she wreaks behind the facade, it is only through death that she suffers the dread of existentialism, and begs for a chance to right her wrongs. A journey of cosmic nihilism awaits her.

À propos de l'auteur

Biographie de Nyhl Kreeg

Raised in the valleys and vineyards winding through the German forests past castles and ecclesiastical edifices, my fascination with the horrors hiding in the dark and within the human soul took root from the cradle. At the age of six I wrote my first short story, and I continued to express my inchoate passion for the horror genre throughout school. Once I had discovered the works brought forth by the romantic movement and the Victorian era, my love for English literature became manifest.
Some years later, when I had been holding the abyss's gaze for too long, I was confronted with the metaphysics of philosophy, which influenced my perspective of true horror and encouraged me to put my phantasms into words.
