Meiying Lynch is focused on her goal of becoming a lawyer, it's been her dream since she was a child. She won't let anyone or anything deter her from her goal. That remains true until the day she finds a dusty little antique shop near campus. The ancient owner insists that she buy an antique, black framed mirror and it's delivered by Bennet Calverley who works at the shop. She's attracted to Ben but she isn't going to allow romance to distract her from her studies.
When the grandson of the shop's owner shows up and begins throwing cryptic threats and warnings her way things become complicated. She turns to her best friend Alistina Ivers for assistance. It isn't long before they discover what danger lies behind the glass of the mirror that Mei purchased.
