This book is the second of the three volume series entitled: - LIVING UNDER FIVE FLAGS. In this book Alan tells of his ministry in the country then known as Rhodesia. He tells of the time he spent in places then known as Selukwe, Gwelo, Salisbury, Que Que Umtali and Chipinga. These were the days of the 'bush war' in Rhodesia and it was a time of considerable danger. In spite of the danger Alan and his young family pioneered a Church in a dangerous part of the country bringing great encouragement to the mainly farming community.
Whilst in Chipinga the country known as Rhodesia became Zimbabwe -Rhodesia and finally Zimbabwe. The final book will deal with Alan's time in Bulawayo and Harare before finally moving to the United Kingdom.
