This is a very incapacitating disease of menstruating women. Lower abdominal and back pain, sterility and many illness absences from work are related to it. Adenomyosis is the little brother of Endometriosis and frequently preceding it. Adenomyosis manifests only with menstruation pain. It is said that during the period its product instead of flowing freely down the vagina refluxes in the Fallopian tubes, to attain even lower peritoneal cavity.
