Sanura is a young girl who lives at the edge of the African jungle. She has made friends with baby gorillas and they enjoy playing together. Without warning the gorilla family disappears deep into the jungle; out of sight from everyone. Sanura is sure something is wrong and heads off into the jungle to discover what it is. Along the way she enlist the help of other animals in the jungle to solve the mystery.
The story builds to a courageous escape and rescue that has an international connection to the gorilla's disappearance.
