War has come to Segen, leaving Aislin little time to settle into her new duties. Accompanying Lord Arclac to Ravenwood, the two are met by a hostile Council that barely can agree on a path forward. Barely avoiding imprisonment, Aislin quickly retreats for the familiar territory of Teorainn, but it's far from the same place that she left. Duty soon forces Lord Arclac and Aislin to divide and conquer to help their collective peoples, but not everything is as it seems.
