Résumé

Eighteen-year-old Charlie Blackwell lives with her adoptive single mom in Brooklyn Heights, New York. When she is not attending high school, she works part time as a barista in her mom's trendy coffeehouse and bakery, The Black Bean. Charlie's life is good, but it's not without struggle. It's been ten years since she was adopted and she's still dealing with the psychological trauma that living at St John's orphanage caused her.
On top of that, she has been keeping a secret from everyone...as much as Charlie tries to live a normal life; she was born with a psychic ability that she can't control. After a demon threatens her life, Charlie is rescued by a mysterious stranger, who promises protection and gives her the opportunity to train with him, so that she can learn to harness the gift that she has tried to suppress. Handsome and brooding, Alex Whitmore rides in on a black Harley and captures Charlie's attention.
After an awkward exchange, she is mortified when he walks into the Black Bean as a new employee and she is forced to work alongside her new crush. Tensions build as they struggle to deny their attraction, but her hopes for romance are put on hold when she receives dark visions of Alex's death, and fears  getting close to him might cost Alex his life. Thrills, Chills, Mystery, High school drama, Angels, Demons, Slow Burn Romance and Witty Banter.
This coming of age paranormal romance will leave you BURNING for more.
