Life could be so good for Dr. Tiffany LeBlanc. If only she could keep her cheating fiancé in check, and get her parents' approval for once. Scott `Red' McAllister comes from much different stock. With his Cajun-Scottish lineage, he was raised in a large, boisterous, lovable, but hard-working family in a tiny Louisiana farming community. He's a highly respected business owner of one successful club in Lafayette, with his second under construction in Lake Coburn. Red's confirmed bachelor status takes a hard hit upon meeting the good doctor several months earlier.
A decision to steal Tiffany away from her unappreciative fiancé puts a wrinkle in the plans of his old college nemesis, Tanner Collins. With a relationship with Tiffany looming, the tide turns ominously for Red. One anonymous phone call promising disaster for him, leads to another, each more baffling to the business man. A tragic fire is only the beginning of someone's plans to make his life a living hell, and he's stumped as to why anyone would want him ruined.
