Résumé

Marge Willet needed emotional healing. Her father left the family when she was eight (which was when she walked away from God),  and her step father committed incest when she was 16 creating another barrier between her and prayer.   When she met a handsome young man known as Carliano in Italy, while on vacation, he promised before she returned home, he would write her, but she never received a letter.
Later in life Marge's unhappy marriage ended because of  adultery and therefore she decided to never trust a single man again. She adopted an attitude and dressed plain so she wouldn't attract a man's interest. However that failed when she caught Durand's attention, a wealthy entrepreneur. He wanted to enroll her into his transformation program, to help her grow as a person, but secretly desired her for himself.
He sent three of his employees to represent him, but Margie wasn't receptive.    Carter Gavallini came to the U. S to look for his "Maggie", a lost love.  While there, he found work with Durand's enterprise, an organization that helps disabled woman walk or disfigured woman to have cosmetic surgery to make them beautiful. Carter enjoyed his work until Durand assigned him and his two associates to a woman that resembled a woman he met 14 years ago A woman he thought could be his Maggie.
When the truth came out about the missing letter to Maggie (That he did write)  Carter had a choice to make. He can go after Maggie and risk violating his contract or say goodbye to love he once knew 14 years ago.
