For Dennis and Alex, Christmas Eve has always been a bitter day for them. It has always marked as a day of remebrance for their pitiful lives, but when Dennis recieves a free Christmas sweater from a mysterious man, everything has a chance to change. After giving it as a Christmas present to his Alex, who rents a room in his house, they have a few drinks as they mourn their lives. The next morning Alex finds himself as Lexi, a beautfiul redhead in the arms of her slumberinf husband, a much handsomer Dennis.
As the two panick at this drastic swap, they slowly realise that everthing in their life has changed too, giving them a chance for a wonderful life together.
