Résumé

Tending Adam's Garden describes and explains the immune system from a wholly novel perspective. The book uses figurative metaphors and concrete case histories to illustrate seemingly esoteric science, bringing the subject to life, and exploring the fundamental miracle of nature. However, it encompasses much more than just immunology, exploring more fundamental matters such as causality, information, energy, evolution, cognition and individuality. These fascinating insights are described in a highly engaging manner, demanding no specialised vocabulary, or specific scientific background in the subject.
