Résumé

The Tcl language and the Tk graphical toolkit, created by John Ousterhout, are simple and powerful building blocks for sophisticated applications. The Tcl/Tk combination is increasingly popular because it lets you produce sophisticated graphical interfaces with a few easy commands, develop and change scripts quickly, and conveniently tie together existing utilities or programming libraries. The Tcl/Tk Pocket Reference is a companion volume to Tcl/Tk in a Nutshell.
This small book, covering Tcl version 8.0 and Tk version 8.0, is a handy reference guide to the basic Tcl language elements, to the Tcl and Tk commands, and to the Tk widgets. Each command and widget is presented along with its available options.
