Biographie de Viola Spolin
Viola Spolin was introduced to the use of games, storytelling, folk dance, and dramatics as tools for stimulating creative expression in the 19zos while a student of Neva Boyd at Chicago's Hull House. She won many awards in her lifetime for her contribution to professional, educational, community, and children's theater. She died in 1994. Her son, Paul Sills, founding director of Chicago's Second City and of Story Theater and co-editor of this edition, follows her improvisational theater techniques to this day.
