Trudy Kribhee is an award-winning writer of books for children and young adults. She has also been a feature writer, a book reviewer, a photo-essayist, and a college writing professor. Trudy was inspired to write Bark Park ! by Riley, her daughter Laura's cocker spaniel. They often took Riley to the dog park in San Francisco, and one day a passing San Francisco Examiner photographer snapped photos of his antics.
To their surprise, Riley was featured on the front page of the newspaper ! Trudy lives in Dayton, Ohio. Brooke Boynion-slrghe is a cat person who married a dog person and realized that dogs are actually pretty great. Brooke has illustrated several books for kids, including Baby Love by Angela DiTerlizzi, Henry Wants More ! by Linda Ashman, and Coat of Many Colors by Dolly Parton. Brooke lives in Colorado with her husband, Bill, and a naughty but cute mini Australian shepherd named Olive.
