Résumé
THE PICADOR BOOK OF AFRICAN STORIES contains forty stories from across the wide African continent, hardly any of which have been collected before. These are by the post-1980 generation of writers or were written in the last two decades. Some are firm favourites, but most are published for the first time in this anthology. Over half the stories have been freshly translated into English in specially commissioned new versions. Each writer appears with biographical notes.
