Biographie de Carol Shields
Carol Shields is the author of eight novels, of which Larry's Party won the 1998 Orange Prize and The Stone Diaries was shortlisted for the 1993 Booker Prize and won the Pulitzer Prize. She is also the author of three collections of short stories. Born and brought up in Chicago, Carol Shields has lived in Canada since 1957. She is the Chancellor Emeritus of the University of Winnipeg, and a Professor Emerita at the University of Manitoba. Jane Austen won the 2002 Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction.
