His collection, begun by chance over twenty years ago, is today-thanks to the variety and the number of items (over 2,000 pairs of cuff links)- one of the most important in the world, along with the collection belonging to singer Harry Connick Jr Over the years, Pizzin's quest has taken him all over the world. His friends have joined in the game, obtaining some of the rarest pieces of all-such as Maria Félix, who commissioned a unique pair for him as a gift, or Princess Sikira of Somalia, who hunts through every antique dealer's boutique in Provence.
Recently, Bertrand Pizzin has begun to design his own creations, commissioning their manufacture from Parisian jewelers.
