Votre note
C.S. Lewis has captivated generations of children with his fabulous Chronicles of Narnia, seven classic stories in which magic meets reality and good triumphs over evil. But he wrote more than 30 books, most designed to inspire an adult readership, and became justly renowned as the most influential spiritual writer of his day. The C.S. Lewis Signature Classics series brings a selection of the author's most renowned books into the 21 st century for a new generation of people who seek calm and inspiration in a hectic and ever-changing world. Whatever your philosophy of life, it will be tested at some point when you encounter or endure suffering. Why do people or animals have to suffer pain, especially if there is a God ? C.S. Lewis sets out to disentangle this conundrum with a wealth of compassion and insight, offering hope, wisdom and a true understanding of human nature.
