Perhaps ten years ago, some of us in Ghana, in South Africa, in Mali and in Côte d'Ivoire began genetic research on fish populations. Very rapidly the first results showed the interest of these works for aquaculture. With this in mind, it seemed useful to reunite the greatest number of principal actors in today's research to discuss the latest works and to create cooperative dynamics between these researchers. This book shows twenty-five communications that summarised up to date African works.
