Eden and After is a brand new collection of photographs of childhood, taken by Nan Goldin, one of the world's most prominent and influential contemporary photographers. Featuring almost entirely unknown work taken over a period of thirty years (1977-2013), the book traces the mysterious and alien narrative of childhood - from pregnancy and birth through to her subjects' early teens and their departure into adulthood.
In addition, Goldin's close friend and collaborator, Guido Costa provides a personal and thoughtful analysis of this body of work in his concluding essay 'Bambini'.
