Giovanni Seminara graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Geneva and completed his education at Imperial College (London) where he was awarded his Ph.D. in 1976. G. Seminara is presently Professor of Fluid Mechanics at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the University of Genova. His research interests encompass basic and applied aspects of fluid mechanics with particular emphasis on river and estuarine morphodynamics.
Paolo Blondeaux graduated in Civil Engineering at the University of Geneva and is presently Professor of Fluid Mechanics at the Department of Environmental Engineering of the same University. His research interests range over many aspects of basic and applied fluid mechanics such as vorticity dynamics, unsteady boundary layers, surface gravity waves and coastal morphodynamics.
