Eli unites rival factions-Ethernet Monks, 5G Inquisitors, Bluetooth devices, and reformed Bandwidth Bandits-before ascending into the digital afterlife.
His successor Nova faces the 6G Entity, the Data Vampire's remnant, and the Static, an entity born from every unanswered message. Meanwhile, a purist schism led by Relay threatens to undo the fragile peace. Generations later, Iris becomes the new Prophet when the Committee of Bureaucratic Signals threatens to deprecate the original Wi-Fi frequency. She defends the signal in a surreal administrative hearing, proving that what people actually use cannot be "optimized" away.
A proposed Universal Signal Consolidation by the efficiency-obsessed entity Omni is defeated when a test merge proves that removing friction removes the reason for connection itself. Throughout, the faith's core truth emerges: connection isn't about speed or optimization, but the messy, human choice to keep answering the call, one reboot at a time. The novel blends tech satire with heartfelt philosophy, featuring a sentient printer, a reformed data tick, and a Captcha Beast who now asks "select all squares containing kindness."
