Résumé
The Maiden's Manifesto - "The Feminine Flame" is not a new women's hammer - or even a "witch hammer" - but rather a passing on and unfolding of agency and identity. Eight dimensions form a mission statement with which women pass the flame to one another.
The book brings together over 30 literary portraits of women who take their place on the Holy Chair in Rome: Female Popes of Theology who speak, lead, teach, bless, and reform in the indicative of their responsibility.
It shows the biographical experiences, skills, and role models that women bring to the Church - in liturgy, leadership, teaching, and passion for the world. What topics do women bring to the Catholic Church? It is about the biological-theological interpretation of the virgin birth, about "Noli Me Tangere, " the "don't touch me" attitude in celibacy; why the hybridity of a cyborg suits the Catholic Church well, what the theological guiding principle of Pincipium Integrale means, and how patriarchy can be drowned every day.
It is proven that there are more than three biological genders - and what that means for today's theology. And: why Eve has a primal grace that allows us to rewrite the history of the Catholic Church. We learn why education for women is so important in the Catholic Church and that a decent life also includes political action against child hunger. What does the doctrine say about right-wing radicalism when we ask where charity remains? Must theology be understood as political resistance at all? This hybrid literary work shows how richly the Vatican draws on spiritually strong, intellectually qualified women to make the Roman leadership and Curia culture more feminine, younger, and more diverse: Fundamentum femineitatis - The foundation of theology is femininity in faith.
This women's manifesto allows us to see what happens when we pass on the flame of fire - and no longer let go.
