Titans of the Ancient World

Six of the most ancient beings in the Greek mythological world - six complete novels, one volume. She counseled Zeus and called the divine assemblies and was the foundation on which the king of the gods organized his order.
Rhea - She handed five children to her husband to be swallowed. Then she hid the sixth and gave her husband a stone wrapped in cloth. This was the bravest and most consequential act in the history of the divine world. The Olympian order exists because of her. Cronos - He castrated his father with the adamantine sickle and governed the golden age and swallowed his children because a prophecy said one of them would overthrow him.
The fear was genuine. The swallowing was the act the fear organized. The defeat was the act the fear had made inevitable from the beginning. This is the most genuinely tragic of all possible divine stories. Erebus - He was the deep darkness between the earth and the underworld. Every mortal who has ever died has passed through him. He receives them without judgment. He was there before the gods and will be there after them.
He does not demand recognition. He is present whether recognized or not. Chaos - Before everything there was Chaos. Not disorder - the primordial void, the undifferentiated expanse from which everything else emerged. Gaia and Tartarus and Eros and Erebus and Nyx all emerged from Chaos. The void was not empty. It was full of the potential for everything. It remains beneath everything that emerged from it.
