After completing his undergraduate studies at Ankara University's Faculty of Law, he earned his master's degree at Marmara University's Faculty of Communication.- For many years, Güzel worked as a freelance lawyer and simultaneously contributed to the literary and media world, publishing works in the field of literature.-He later transitioned to a career in the judiciary, serving as a criminal court judge in Diyarbakir, a province in eastern Turkey.
However, due to his dissenting stance and decisions, he was removed from his position and had to leave the country for security reasons.
