Résumé
Most likely the animosity between Lindsey and her former partner Jordan was rooted in Lindsey's work schedule. Overnight in a busy ER didn't give either of them to spend time together. The two split a month prior to when Lindsey came home from work and found Jordan dead in her bed. What Jordan was doing in her bed was a mystery. The mystery continues after Lindsey calls to police, and officers Collins and Robinson arrive to investigate.
Lindsey relates the sad tale of her failed marriage to the officers, and they seem to have sympathy for her situation. When forensic team and Chief of Detectives arrive, Lindsey is urged to stay at her sister's house for a while until the investigation is completed. Lindsey is told she can leave, and the Chief of Detectives tells Collins and Robinson they did a great job in handling the case and he and the forensics team with take over from here on out.
On the way out to their patrol car, Collins and Robinson joke about Inspector Rush's compliment and feel that Lindsey will most likely not be charged in the case.
