Python's Kiss

Every time April gets in the ring for a match, the world feels dreamy, ethereal or surreal, everything starts shifting and transforming while never staying its true shape for long. She looked out of place among the dreamscape, but she definitely didn't feel that way. She stifled her excited breath, feeling her long fingers curl tighter around the ropes as she waited in anticipation for the bell and her match with Maya the champion.
Finally, April's eyes glanced up, and she met Maya, her opponent's gaze head on. Two eyes like emeralds stared back at her with lips that were curved up in a sinister smile. Her pointed nose was lightly raised into the air, with dimples indenting her cheeks. Her opponent's plump body was like a patchwork in nature as it seemed pulled together with small hues of pink and mauve. April pushed from the security of her corner and felt the chill air of the arena tense her skin as she rushed forward to meet her opponent head on in the center.
The sound of two bodies smashing together exploded with a thud as the crowd sat on the edge of their seats, delighted to see the spectacle of two bodies wrapping around one another like serpents battling for control. This is the match that April had waited for so long to happen.
