Melody is short of stature, but tall in ambitions. She is about to begin college in September and already she has a bucket list for her future. One of the items was to learn to play better piano, piano with a boogie woogie sound. Just by chance she stumbles across Ella in a shopping mall playing piano in the food court. This black lady was playing exactly the kind of music Melody wanted to learn to play.
The teen wastes no time in getting to know Ella and eventually sets up lessons with the talented piano player.
