The Intern Interlude

Pam and Emma meet at a mountain lake resort, Pam is an intern at a local hospital and she falls for Emma the owner of the hottest bar in the resort area. Pam is an intern at the local hospital and her life can get very stressful at times. So to relieve some of the stress she bought a cottage along a lake, in an exclusive mountain lake resort. On her most recent visit she met the owner of the hottest bar in the area, Emma.
The two hit it off almost immediately. During the time Pam is at the lake house, she and Emma become quite close and spend just about all of their time together. Even in the short time they have had together, a torrid romance blooms and both become smitten with the other. Most of the people around the resort are aware of the romance and wish the couple well, and hope the relationship continues to grow.
All except that is, one person. Daphne, the night manager at Emma's club. She also is a former flame of Emma's, an affair long since passed. Or so Emma believes. What follows next defies logic. Daphne makes it her mission to take Emma from Pam and destroy any hope the young intern might have of getting involved with Emma. Fortunately one of Emma's employees, tells her that trouble is brewing and Daphne is up to no good.
This worries Emma because she knows the kind of stuff Daphne is capable of. So she decides to set the record straight with her former lover and terminated her employment. Hoping that would put an end to the trouble. But that was hardly the end of Daphne and she becomes unhinged following her altercation with Emma.
