Tami falls victim to the forces of nature and is changed forever. Following a nearly comatose period of time in the hospital she emerges with powers that defy science, physics and the laws of the universe. This change spurs her with a new sense of direction, she splits with her abusive mother and father and sets out on a crusade to right many wrongs and build a relationship with a childhood friend, Zoe.

The two are empathic to each other's situation by providing comfort and support. Her new power has provides Tami with immense wealth and removes many low life drug dealers from the streets.
