Résumé

These are good times for group psychotherapy! It has long been the standard in psychotherapeutic clinics and, with active political support, is likely to become even more important in outpatient care as well, in addition to becoming a fixture in all psychotherapeutic training courses and continuing education courses in the future. This book presents the basics of group therapy work in compact form and reflects on the importance of group dynamics, structural aspects and the characteristics of group members and group leaders.
Various clinical group theories and ways of integrating them, as well as relevant research findings, are described. This cross-procedural compact textbook provides practical support for both beginners and experienced group psychotherapists.
