Erotically Complicated Problems

Kait's business is going through some rocky times and at the same time she fears that her daughter may be involved in a lesbian relationship. These things have begun to cause her to lose sleep and act callously at work. Her best friend and subordinate, Miranda calls her on it and Kait pours her heart out believing that may solve her insomnia. Instead Kait learns even more from Miranda that may add to her anxieties when her friend reveals a secret she has held since she first met Kait.
Miranda suggests they leave work and discuss the issue privately over drinks. The time she spends with Miranda becomes cathartic and yet the two women are left with a confused outlook regarding their future. Miranda obviously did not lift the anxiety Kait was feeling but created more questions that the two women will have to work out closely together before they can solve any of Kait's pressing problems.
