Reeling from the broken relationship, Veronica an assistant elementary school principal gets drawn into a relationship with one of her staff, Liz, the music teacher. Liz a true free spirit and seems to be just the tonic she needed for her lost relationship. Liz and Veronica started off slow and the relationship ignited into a white-hot flame as the two explore all the boundaries two women can experience.
A great lover, and an exceptional music teacher, Liz seems the perfect lover, that is until Veronica learns that Liz is actually stepping out on her girlfriend and drags the assistant principal into the middle of it. Disillusioned, depressed, and bewildered Veronica distances herself from Liz and her unhappy girlfriend and seeks refuge in her apartment and tries to make sense of how things have worked out in her love life.
She sinks even deeper into the deep depression and just before she is carried away, a knock at her apartment door pulls her out of her funk. As she goes to answer the knock, she wonders who is on the other side of her door. Liz or Danielle?
