Autorschaft und Autorität sind nicht nur etymologisch verwandt; ihr Wechselverhältnis spielt auch und gerade in der Auseinandersetzung mit religiösen und kanonischen Texten eine zentrale Rolle. Doch gibt es eine große Bandbreite von Möglichkeiten, wie Autorität entsteht oder wirkt, beschrieben, etabliert oder dekonstruiert werden kann. In diesem Sammelband wird das Wechselverhältnis zwischen einem Autor, seinem Text und seiner bzw.
dessen Autorität von verschiedenen Perspektiven aus reflektiert. Darüber hinaus enthält der Band weitere Beiträge aus aktuellen Forschungsprojekten von Mitgliedern der evangelisch-theologischen Fakultät der Universität Wien. Authorship and authority are not only etymologically related, their interaction play a major role in the debate with religious and canonical texts. Yet, there is a variety of possibilities of how authority emerges and appears or can be described, established or deconstructed.
In this volume, the interaction between the author, his text and his or its authority, respectively will be highlighted from different perspectives. Additionally, the volume includes additional contributions of recent studies of fellows of the Faculty of Protestant Theology of the University of Vienna.
