A Friend Indeed

Kylie saw Wren sitting on the curb in front of her house, Kylie thought maybe she was hurt and pulled over. As she got out and asked how she was she saw the most beautiful girl Kylie had ever seen, and as the stars aligned that day, Wren had the same feeling about Kylie. The two girls get in Kylie's car and head out, Kylie wanting to show off the beautiful girl she had just found. They ended up meeting Kylie's clique of friends and was admitted into their group.
Like a whirlwind, Kylie was taking Wren with her everywhere.  They went to Kylie's job, a pool cleaner at a good friend Maya's house. Wren met Maya and Kylie had a hard time finishing her job because the girls did everything they could to tease her. She had a difficult time but finished taking a little longer than normal, and all three jumped into the pool to cool off. Maya told Wren about Kylie's club house, and they both dogged her to take them there.
After several weeks, Wren was firmly entrenched in Kylie's life. College started back up Wren went back to ISU. A star of the girls' volleyball team. But a girl on the team took a disliking to Wren and began bullying her unmercifully. Wren kept quiet because that would only make matters worse. Instead, she went to Kylie's club house after taking a thrashing by the bully.  One look at her battered friend, Kylie knew someone was going to pay.
